The top picture shows the four steps involved in turning 1/2 inch bolts into 5/16 mounting bungs.First take off about of the thickness of the bolt head. Second drill and tap 5/16 holes. Third, weld in 5/16 bolt and cut off excess. Fourth, turn flange round and grind weld. The rest of the pictures show the bung in the tank, the mounting tab, and the mounted tank.
