SHOP WORK

Started the fab work on Verns Yamy Triple Saturday. Had to stretch the rear tank mount to work with his stock mount.
Chuck is starting to cut the frame work for the seat section.
Under the helmet welding the steel together.
This is what we came up with, it uses the stock hindges and latch and release spring all cut up to work with the framework we came up with.

Works really well, it is strong as hell and is pleasing to the eye. It is a little tight in my little shop for Vern, Chuck, and I but we seem to get a lot of work done, and have a good time doing it. Thats what it is all about. Next on to mounting the battery and tail light under the bump stop. Got the tires mounted on the wheels for the Gold Wing today, took me Less then 20 minutes to get them done. I dont need no stinking tire machine.

VERN'S XS750

Vern is working on a new project, and brought it over for a little bit of love and fab work. We will be mounting the tank, makeing the seat unit hinge to the side, mounting the battery and all the ignition under the seat, mounting the tail light, foot pegs, front fender, and what ever else he thinks needs to be done. Starting Saturday with the tank and seat. Will keep things posted as we make progress.

SHOP WORK

I bead blasted all these parts then gave them a good hot water and soap bath.
 Then masked them all off.
 Then black Imron.
Got the front end put back together, hard to tell in the pictures but with the chrome fork brace and black legs, it looks really good. Now I have to decide, fender, no fender. leaning towards a very tiny fender. We will see.

still need to drill the handlebars and run all the wires through them. Not looking foward to this job.
Chuck and I spent a good 4 hours mounting the fairing. But it really looks good, fits good, and is solid as a rock. Will have more to show soon.

TRIUMPH

BOBBER?

Says so on the tank.
